Miles Studio SpaceMiles' Fun Facts:

-19 years old

-His first album, "The Scenic Route," was completely self-written, recorded, and produced - it was released in April 2007.

-Album #2, "Notes of Life," came out in the Winter of 2008, again self-written, recorded, and produced by Miles, this time mixed by Scott Lamps at DNA Studios in Madison, WI

-He has opened for Lifehouse and Keller Williams

-He has performed at venues across Southern Wisconsin like the Rave, Overture Center, Orpheum, Union Theater, Der Rathskeller, as well as many many coffeehouses.

-Miles plays: acoustic and electric guitars, violin, mandolin, bass, drums, piano/keys, tenor banjo, banjo-mandolin, and melodica... simultaneously

-Former member of three bands - Union Jack, Soupachil, and Mellow Apparition, as well as many small projects

-Miles is a Music Education major at UW-Madison

-His start with music was with violin at age 4

-He started writing songs at age 14

-He started singing classical solo repetoire at age 15, and currently studies classical voice with Prof. Julia Faulkner at UW

-He hopes to teach elementary school music classes
